Minus the waffles, the mix was way too thin and when my wife pointed it out to the manager, he just had the attendant clean the waffle iron, not fix the mix. But it was worth it, as the food was tasty.

The food area was extremely busy in both the evening and the morning, I feel it was mainly due to the fact that on this particular weekend, there was the Columbus Marathon (18k participants), Columbus Blue Jackets game, Ohio State game, Fleetwood Mac concert from everything I noticed, so the hotel was pretty packed. The towels were a bit scratchy, but that was pretty much the worst part of the room.and that's grasping at straws. I'm 5'10" tall and I was able to stretch out pretty comfortably in the tub. And the bathtub was large, I apologize to anyone if they didn't have hot water Sunday night in the downtown Columbus area, as I took the worlds hottest and longest shower/bath after my race. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but clean and bright.the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the bathroom was a clever touch.

Our TV was a 37" LCD with 2 HDMI ports in the back that allowed me to plug in my computer and watch netflix on the TV. The wifi signal was pretty strong on the 8th floor and we managed to watch netflix with decent results. It was great to have a decent sized mini-fridge and a microwave for no extra fees. Once we got to the room, we were pleasantly surprised to find it generously sized and the amenities were nice. I feel that perhaps the card hadn't been activated within the few minutes we took to get parked and unload and head to the elevators. When we went to get into the elevator in the garage, the door wouldn't open even with our card, luckily someone was already in there and let us in. We parked our car and the parking garage was PACKED. We showed up right around check in at 3pm, and the staff was friendly and gave us our room card. My wife and I stayed here for the Columbus Marathon this past weekend and it met pretty much every expectation I had.
